The symposium will be held in the heart of the historical city of Ghent. Only rivaled in its mediaeval charm by Bruges, Ghent boasts numerous historical buildings, including the magnificent Saint Bavo's cathedral and the Castle of the Counts, the splendid City Hall and Belfry, and the world-famous guild houses of the "Graslei".
